National Volunteering Week will take place from 15th to 21st May 2017. The focus of this year's campaign is to showcase the benefits that volunteering can have on a person's health and wellbeing. Volunteers often say that while people think that volunteers are helping them, it's often them who help the volunteers. We'll be bringing you stats, facts and most importantly some amazing stories. Stay tuned from 26th April when we will officially launch National Volunteering Week 2017!

During National Volunteering Week, Volunteer Centres across Ireland will host Open Days where anyone can drop in and learn more about volunteering with no obligation. If you've thought about volunteering but never taken the plunge, this is the perfect time to learn how you can get involved.
