The National Volunteer Management Conference enables and enhances volunteering through the promotion of best practice in volunteer management.
The conference provides the opportunity for volunteer managers to spend some quality time on personal development, networking with colleagues and participating in a host of motivating focused on volunteer recruitment, retention, training, support and management.
This event is essential to anyone who manages volunteers as part of their role (paid or unpaid) or anyone interested in volunteer engagement in the Community & Voluntary Sector or the Corporate Sector. Attendees are welcome from Ireland and overseas.
The 2023 National Volunteer Management Conference will take place on Wednesday 26th April at the University of Galway. The programme will be announced in February.
The 2022 conference took place on 26th and 27th April and covered a range of topics including the importance of managing learning in voluntary organisations, understanding the problematic roots of volunteerism and moving forward with compassion along with masterclasses on board management and renewal, developing corporate opportunities as well as building a 21st century volunteer programme.
