Thursday 8th October 2015
Dublin Castle Conference Centre
Behind Ireland’s thousands of volunteers lie the equally dedicated individuals and organisations responsible for their recruitment, training, support, and management.
These are the individuals that inspire volunteers and enable an environment where volunteering can thrive. Join your peers, colleagues and leaders in the field of volunteer management for a day of professional development, networking and informative, thought-provoking workshops.

The keynote speaker for this year’s conference is George Thomson, CEO of Volunteer Scotland. George has a national leadership role in connecting volunteer activity to a wide range of different needs. A 'big picture' thinker, his focus has been on understanding the ways in which we can make it easier to volunteer, and increase our understanding about the meaning that volunteer activity has for the individual. To get a hint of what George will be talking about on the day, check out our sneak peak video:
We have a great line-up of speakers and workshop topics this year. Topics range from developing a successful volunteer-led organisation, to measuring the quality of your volunteer's work, to engaging older peole as volunteers and dealing with recruiting and retaining volunteers in rural areas.
