Tuesday 16th May – Kerry Centre will be showcasing the positive impacts of volunteering among Community Employment scheme employees and highlighting the many benefits of volunteering locally when employed and when seeking employment.

Wednesday 17th May – The Volunteer Centre will publish details of and open applications to, its exciting new training program that will be delivered in June to establish a panel of Volunteer Managers for Kerry’s Community and Voluntary Groups.

Thursday 18th May – Kerry Volunteer Centre will host the annual Valuing Volunteering coffee morning at the Kerry Volunteer Centre offices at 7 Maine Street, Tralee. All are welcome to attend and the occasion is always very relaxed, upbeat and informal!

Friday the19th May – Kerry Volunteer Centre will launch a report on the impact that volunteering has on the health and well-being of volunteers. The national report will feature input from Kerry based volunteers and it's findings will make for interesting musing on the linkages between volunteerism and well being.

Meath Volunteer Centre are alos hosting a Facebook competition during National Volunteering Week. Organisations can simply email the centre with a paragraph about their organisation and tell them how Meath Volunteer Centre has helped. They will upload the submissions to their Facebook page and then the most likes recorded by 16th May will win the prize of €150.
