Based on the latest Government advice, we have taken the decision to cancel this year’s National Volunteer Management Conference due to take place in NUI Galway on 22nd April 2020.

All those who purchased tickets will automatically be issued a full refund.

The health and safety of everyone involved is our highest priority. Although it is unclear what the situation will be in a few weeks’ time we wanted to give clarity to both attendees and speakers as early as possible. We also felt it important that we and our attendees are free to focus our efforts where they are most needed during this crisis.

We’re hopeful we can hold the conference later in the year and will provide details on that when we have it.

About the Conference

The National Volunteer Management Conference enables and enhances volunteering through the promotion of best practice in volunteer management.

The conference provides the opportunity for volunteer managers to spend some quality time on personal development, networking with colleagues and participating in a host of motivating masterclasses and discussions focused on volunteer recruitment, retention, training, support and management.

This event is essential to anyone who manages volunteers as part of their role (paid or unpaid) or anyone interested in volunteer management in the Community & Voluntary Sector or the Corporate Sector.
