The National Volunteer Management Conference is essential to anyone who manages volunteers as part of their role or those who want to learn more about volunteer management in the Community & Voluntary and Corporate Sectors.
This year, the conference took place online on the mornings of Wednesday 21st and Thursday 22nd April 2021.
The conference saw the launch of the National Volunteering Strategy presented by the Department of Rural and Community Development. During our plenary sessions, we were treated to keynotes from Rob Jackson (UK), Chris Millora (Philippines) and Anshu Gupta (India) and Mark Prendergast (Ireland).
Ten Masterclasses and ‘In Conversation With’ sessions were scheduled this year. Attendees had the opportunity to explore – amongst others – the importance of valuing volunteer management, how to boost your grant applications with a well-run volunteer programme along with insights into corporate and community collaborations in the past year.
