Virtual Volunteering is carried out online using computers and internet connected devices, usually from afar. The service may be provided virtually but the volunteers are real. More and more organisations are engaging people who want to contribute their skills online.
We’ll explore the fundamentals of designing roles, online screening, online communities, how to overcome resistance to online volunteering and we’ll debunk some of the myths surrounding the subject.
