Join a short online lunchtime session hosted by Dublin City Volunteer Centre with a representative of the Clean Coasts Volunteer programme.
This National Volunteering Week, our focus is on health and wellness – and where better to start than the beach? Join us for a brief lunchtime presentation with Clean Coasts to learn more about their work and the roles volunteers play, and ask your questions before you apply.
The Clean Coasts programme works with communities to help protect and care for Ireland’s waterways, coastline, seas, ocean and marine life. We are creating a tangible and immediate improvement on Ireland’s coastal environment through:
- Organising 100s of beach clean-ups each year;
- Mobilising thousands of volunteers to remove large quantities of marine litter from our coastline;
- Promoting and facilitating coastal clean-ups and marine litter surveys.
Our short conversation with representatives from Clean Coasts will include an overview of the work they do, how Covid has affected their volunteer programme, and how you can get involved. Sign up now here so you don’t miss it!
