Volunteer Ireland is delighted to invite you to a special virtual briefing for CEOs of non-profits on Future Proofing your Organisation – The Integral Role of Volunteers.
The webinar will take place on Friday June 19th at 10am. We will be joined by guest speakers Dee Ahearn, CEO of Barretstown and Noeline Blackwell, CEO of the Dublin Rape Crisis Centre. Together with Nina Arwitz, CEO of Volunteer Ireland we will discuss the vital role volunteers will play in the future of our organisations and how we can adapt our volunteer programmes to support our ‘new normal’.
Many of us know that volunteers have been critical to our nation’s response to COVID-19 but as a non-profit CEO you’ll also know that volunteers are vital to the services we deliver year round. As we move out of the emergency response phase and restrictions lift, life will be a lot different for our organisations and indeed our volunteer programmes.
We want to support organisations not only to adapt their volunteer programmes for the ‘new normal’ but think innovatively about their volunteers and their role in strengthening the work of your organisation into the future.
With over 1 million people giving their time to causes they care about each year, it is vital that organisations embrace and harness the power of volunteering for the future.
