The administrators of I-VOL take no responsibility for screening and/or selecting potential volunteers or referrals and this remains the responsibility of the advertising organisation.

The advertising of a volunteer opportunity on behalf of an organisation does not imply any endorsement of the aims and objectives of the organisation.

Opportunities will only be advertised on I-VOL if the following criteria are met

If it comes to the attention of I-VOL that an organisation is involving volunteers inappropriately in relation to the criteria detailed above, then the volunteer role may be de-activated.

Advertised opportunities may also be deactivated after registration if the I-VOL team becomes aware of the possibility that volunteers are being exploited or put in unnecessary danger.
