Employer supported volunteering, or corporate volunteering, is growing in popularity in Ireland, with companies recognising their responsibilities to their stakeholders and the impact that they have on the local community through their Corporate Social Responsibility practices.

These companies recognise that a prosperous and healthy community benefits all who live and work there. Volunteering provides a great platform to engage staff with the non-profit community in Ireland, which can benefit the employee, employer and, of course, society.

Are you a Manager, or a team of employees interested in volunteering in your community, but don’t know how or where to start? In this section you will find a host of helpful guides and resources to help get you started.

If your company is new to volunteering, consider availing of Volunteer Ireland’s employee volunteering training and consultancy services, or let us coordinate your team volunteering event for you in our  ‘Team Impact Days' service. Team Impact Days is a service that matches teams of employees with not-for-profit groups for unique and meaningful community volunteer days.
