Membership Criteria

In order to become a full member of Volunteer Centres Ireland, centres must:

  • Agree to our value base statement (VCI )
  • Recruit & place volunteers as their primary service
  • Have funding in place for 1 or more named individuals to take work forward
  • Be incorporated as a limited company
  • Have a Sustainable work plan
  • Do not duplicate existing services

Members also have to make a commitment to:

  • Use VCI logo and corporate imagery
  • Use common database and linkages to national database
  • The implementation of quality practice standards systems
