Fingal Volunteer Centre is the fourth Volunteer Centre in Ireland to obtain Volunteer Ireland’s Quality Standard Award. The Quality Standard Award was recently presented to the staff and volunteers of the Centre, in recognition of their high standard of service to the volunteers and volunteer involving organisations in Fingal County.
The presentation was made by Terri O’Brien, Quality Standards & Training Officer of Volunteer Ireland. At the recent announcement Ms. O’Brien said “the Quality Standards Assessment had been developed to ensure that a professional service is offered by each of the 22 Volunteer Centres in the country. In its report, the assessment team noted “The high level of support provided to organisations to help them involve volunteers and manage volunteers effectively, thereby improving the quality of the volunteer experience”.
