The Ireland Chapter of the Project Management Institute is conducting a survey of how projects are used and managed in the voluntary sector in Ireland.
As the largest professional organisation for Project Managers in Ireland,the Ireland Chapter aims to serve both our members and the wider community through our Community Outreach Programme.
Through this Programme, we aim to serve the community by facilitating access to a pool of potential volunteers with experience in Project Management who can contribute a broad range of skills to voluntary organisations. We are currently working to identify opportunities for our members to volunteer their professional services and in doing so aiding their own professional development while benefiting the community.
To that end, the purpose of this survey is to determine how voluntary organisations organise and evaluate their activities and the extent to which they use project management techniques to get things done. The survey responses will be used to guide our community outreach programme and determine how the Chapter can best assist the voluntary sector.
