Give it a Swirl - the National Day of Volunteering

Find out how your organisation can make a difference.

Volunteer Centres Ireland, the National agency that promotes and supports volunteering throughout Ireland along with two of its members, Fingal Volunteer Centre and Dublin City South Volunteer Centre, cordially invite you to attend an information session on Give it a Swirl, the National Day of Volunteering. This year Give it a Swirl is on the 25th September 2009.

Find out how organisations and volunteers alike can get involved in the day and in a few short hours make a significant difference in their communities.
At the session there will be a short presentation on Give it a Swirl and what you can do this year.
Volunteers and organisations will talk about their experiences of Give it a Swirl last year and the long term benefits of getting involved. And there will also be an opportunity to share ideas with other like-minded groups about new and creative ways to participate in Give it a Swirl.

We aim for you to walk away from the meeting informed and inspired!
Tea and coffee will be provided.
Date: Thursday 2nd July
Where: Irish Aid Information Centre, O’Connell Street
Time: 11- 12.30 or 6-7.30
Please RSVP by Monday the 29th of June to Deirdre Maher at deirdre@volunteer.ie
and specify whether you will be attending the morning or evening session.
