VCI Partners
Volunteer Centres Ireland and its member volunteer centres would like to pay special thanks to some of our corporate partners whose contributions have added enormous value to our services.

Salesforce.com Foundation

Salesforce.com provide VCI with an online database system which has effectively revolutionised the work of the volunteer centres and allows VCI to gather national statistics about volunteering in Ireland as it happens!

Salesforce.com have donated licenses to VCI as part of their 1.1.1. policy, which means they donate 1% of their time, 1% of their profit and 1% of their product to non profit organisations. The Salesforce.com employees themselves have also been active volunteering their time both helping VCI develop our system and participating in Give it a Swirl - the national day of volunteering.

If you would like more information about Salesforce.com Foundation check out their website here.

Vodafone

Our relationship with the Vodafone Foundation began in 2008 as Vodafone looked for ways to encourage and develop employee volunteering within their organisation. With their support we were able to further invest in our database system so that our end users (both volunteers and organisations) have better access to the services of the volunteer centres.

On 1st of July 2009 we welcomed a new colleague - Fiona Sexton. Fiona was one of four winners of the World of Difference Programme in 2009. The World of Difference Programme gives winners the opportunity to actively participate in and support the cause that moves them most by paying their salary for one year.

Ianroid Eireann

Many thanks to Ianroid Eireann - main sponsors of Give it a Swirl - the national day of volunteering. Ianroid Eireann first got involved with Give it a Swirl in 2008. They have enormous enthusiasm for Give it a Swirl and will be actively encouraging both their staff and passengers to get involved! It is an exciting year for Ianroid Eireann as they celebrate the 25th anniversary of the DART and so we are extremely thankful for their support.

Wyeth Biotech

We would also like to thank Wyeth Biotech for their support for Give it a Swirl over the last two years. Staff in Wyeth showed enormous enthusiasm for Give it a Swirl and participated in a wide range of projects and developed very warm relationships with the organisations with whom they volunteered.

Saaspoint

Thank you also to Saaspoint who have helped us to develop and improve our application process for organisations and volunteers.
